Welcome to our eMove Touring review for 2024. In this overview, we aim to expand on a few of these features seen above, before delving into the rest of our review. For starters, this triple suspension electric scooter is cited officially as the first of its kind. As you might expect, this resulted in a sensationally smooth ride. This model utilises both front & rear dual spring suspension, alongside an additional front stem suspension.
Not only does this offer fantastic functionality, its also an unexpected & awesome addition considering the price. Speaking of, this may also take a spot as one of the most cost-effective commuting eScooters; especially considering all these high-end features offered for a fraction of the price.
Furthermore, riders have the capacity to install an optional seat, perfect for resting your legs on long rides. Rear drum brakes offer some responsive braking, whilst further requiring minimal maintenance and no tuning. A fully folding frame coupled with such a light weight of 39 lbs (17 kg) continue to make this an ideal electric scooter for commuters.

Switching our 2024 eMove Touring review to our speed, power & distance setting. A 48V 500W motor with a peak power output of 750W propels this eScooter to speeds of up to 21.5 mp/h (34.6 km/h). Already, that’s a pretty terrific top speed, again even more so considering the price. This mighty motor allows for some amazing acceleration, allowing riders to reach 0-15 mp/h in just 4.5 seconds. A high-torque power also allows for tackling inclines of up to 20 degrees.
Typically, many hill climbing electric scooters start to drastically decrease in power when dealing with these inclines. However, this model had no trouble humiliating hills whilst maintaining a decent speed. Riders should expect an average range of approx. 25 miles (40 km) per charge; which should prove more than enough for many commuters and casual riders. Please note, variables such as rider weight, incline, terrain, weather, etc. will impact overall performance.

Bringing our 2024 eMove Touring review onto battery life & charging. Such a motor must require a potent amount of power. As such, this model utilises a premium 48V 13AH lithium-ion battery; sourced from world-renowned industry leading LG. These lithium-ion cells often result in lighter batteries with better discharge/charge rates than their counterparts. In fact, these premium Li-ion cells likely result in the reason that this excellent eScooter takes just 3-4 hours to charge. Once again, we must reiterate that this is simply an outstanding performance for such a price.
Alongside this, the Touring also incorporates regenerative braking; converting kinetic braking energy and powering that beefy LG battery, helping you squeeze out that extra mile. Integrated within the frame, the battery is protected from any bumps and the elements. It also boasts a Battery Management System (BMS), protecting against a variety of electrical faults including; overcurrent, overcharging, over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuits and much more. In today’s age, many if not all modern models adhere to strict fire & electrical safety regulations, ensuring no electrical or battery malfunctions. As such, we would expect Voro Motors to have followed suit. How long will the battery last for?
Most lithium-ion cell batteries last around 500-1000+ charge cycles before any faults. As a premium quality lithium-ion battery sourced from leading suppliers, riders should expect the latter of 1000+ of this figure; especially for li-ion cells sourced from LG. Even if you used and charged this folding eScooter at least once a day, it would still take an average of 2-3+ years to reach this point. Lastly, Voro Motors offer 1 year limited warranty on all official purchases, keeping you covered should any faults arise in this time.

Moving on to the design & ergonomics section of our eMove Touring review for 2024. As you may expect, we were innately impressed from the get-go, thanks to its triple suspension system. Voro Motors claim this as the first triple suspension eScooter ever, making this model potentially unrivalled; especially for its price range. In fact, we’re sure this model is competing even outside of its price range, putting a variety of high-end scooters to shame.
Utilising a front/rear dual spring & front stem suspension, the Touring soaks up bumps and any harsh hits; greatly improving overall riding comfort and safety, as riders can maintain balance when battling bumps in the road. Rear drum brakes feature alongside regenerative braking; the former of which requires minimal maintenance, with no need to tune unlike conventional mechanical or hydraulic disc brakes.
All cabling used throughout this scooter is fully waterproof, adding to the protection of internal components. Furthermore, the high-deck clearance prevents puddles and water splashes from damaging the deck and potentially any components. The overall design is incredibly convenient for commuters & casual riders alike, offering a variety of additional features.
For starters, riders also have the option to install a seat to their ride; perfect for longer rides and resting your legs. An integrated kickstand allows you to easily prop up and park your ride, wherever you go. The intuitive LCD display is conveniently situated, allowing you to check speed, battery life, etc. at a moments notice. The scooter itself is extremely lightweight, weighing at just 39 lbs (17 kg); making a great electric scooter for commuters. Simply fold it up, store it on the bus or train, unfold it and off you go.

The previously mentioned LG lithium-ion cells result in a remarkable range and rapid charge time. As we can see from the triple suspension, Voro Motors spared no expense regarding quality.
The 2024 model also features a key required voltmeter, handlebar light switch & electric car horn; the latter of which definitely comes in handy when riding on roads. The motor is simply magnificent, offering an impressive amount of power for its size; alongside high-torque and terrific hill-climbing abilities. This unwillingness to compromise on quality is reflected in the near-perfect performance of this model.
We were especially surprised at how Voro managed to pack all these features yet maintain such a lightweight body of just 39 lbs (17 kg); whilst supporting up to 330 lbs (150 kg), just over 8.4 times its own weight. A wide, spacious deck results in a comfortable standing position and allows riders to shift weight easily. The optional seat allows for an enhanced comfort, especially when cruising. The previously mentioned triple suspension offers riders greater control when riding through tricky terrain, even offering some off-road functionality.

Moving on to the most important section of our 2024 eMove Touring review; safety & usability on the road. As we all know, staying safe when riding roadside is especially important; one mistake could cause an accident. Riders can relax, thanks to highly responsive rear drum brakes that also require minimal maintenance. These rear drum brakes will help you to make sharp, sudden stops on demand.
An integrated electric horn allows you to alert clueless pedestrians to your presence, alongside any traffic. The triple suspension aids in keeping riders steady, without bumps compromising balance. This also gives the eMove Touring potential as an off-road electric scooter, although only very slight potential.
An 8″ pneumatic front tire also aids in smoothing out any bumps, with the 8″ solid rubber tire operating as both motor and support; both of which offer greater grip and control on a variety of terrains. Thanks to ample acceleration, riders should have no problem maintaining an average urban/residential speed of approx. 20 mp/h.
Front head/sidelights help riders see & stay seen, with a rear brake light alerting any traffic behind you. Whilst this is a good start, we still recommend wearing adequate safety gear when riding on dark days, such as; high-visibility jacket, gloves, helmet, etc.
