New Audi Electric Kick Scooter after Segway Partnership

New Audi electric kick scooter delivered after Segway partnership

A recent partnership with Segway has resulted in the release an officially branded Audi electric scooter; offering a high-quality yet still affordable ride. Thanks to this partnership, this kick scooter further benefits, thanks to compatibility with the Segway app. To cover a few specifications, this eScooter is capable of of reaching speeds of 20 km/h & supports weights of up to 100 kg. However, the real reliance of this model lies in its remarkable range; offering 65 km off a single use & cited as the longest in its class. All of this performance is powered by a quiet, 350W motor charged by a 551Wh lithium-ion battery. This battery has a charge time of approx. 6 hours from empty, which is fairly fast considering the range offered.

Regenerative braking is also included, converting kinetic braking energy into battery power & helping extend ride time. Much like many models, the Audi kick scooter also features a fully folding frame, allowing for easy & compact transport. With a total weight of 19.1 kg, most riders should have no problem carrying this scooter for a short distance. Riders can choose from 2 power & driving modes; Sport (high performance), ECO (energy saving), Standard & pedestrian mode (easier pushing).

This model further features front & rear LED lighting, alongside reflectors running across the side. The Audi eScooter also claims water resistance, although the IP rating remains undisclosed. Riders can enjoy a 2 year warranty on all official purchases, covering you should any faults arise; whilst also attesting to the confidence Audi & Segway have in their quality control. For a price of €998.99, we believe the performance offered is worth the money, especially for inner-city commuters. Let us know what you think in the comments.
